35mm Film Service ~ STILLS
The best way to explain the formats we use at Romance Records is to give you a visual example of our offer.
35mm film has been around since the late 1890s and was consistently used up until the early 2000s when the world took digital advancements creating ‘instant digital’ images and 35mm took the back seat.  But like all trends worldwide, 35mm has raged on in the 21st century.

We use Kodak Portra 160 or 400 film as it shows the best detail and subtle colouring that
suits both indoors and outside. Each roll will produce 36 frames.

120mm Film Service ~ STILLS
120mm film was introduced in 1901 for the famous Kodak Brownie box camera,
used by family and amateur photographers. Enter the '60s 120mm was the most popular film format due to the large-sized negative giving images a professional look.
Mainly used for weddings, portraits and high-end jobs clients loved the extra detail in the
images over the smaller sized 35mm.
Fast-forward 50 years and 120mm film has returned with the same impressions.
Highly-detailed, low grain, and incredible optics.
